Before emerging as one of Toronto's most exciting new R&B voices, ABBI WOODS developed a sound shaped by her Ethiopian and Eritrean heritage, blending soulful melodies with deeply introspective songwriting. Her music explores the emotional complexity of identity, relationships, and self-discovery, embracing the uncertainty that comes with personal growth rather than avoiding it. She officially introduced her artistic universe in 2025 with a series of singles including Scattered Bodies, HBD, and TOO LATE.
